B2.02 (Science Block B)

B2.02 is a centrally timetabled teaching room, located off the Science Concourse on floor 2 of Science Block B.

Location

B2.02 is located off the Science Concourse on floor 2 of Science Block B. It is most easily reached by crossing the Library Bridge. Either enter the library and exit on floor 1 onto the bridge, or use the external steps to reach the bridge. Then cross the bridge over to the second floor of Science Block B. Enter the door (this may require your ID card, or may require waving a hand across the door's sensor) and proceed forwards through the second set of doors. B2.02 is then the second door on the left.

Alternatively, enter Science Block B on floor 1, either by going up the steps from the road or using the slope. The door is labeled "CHEMISTRY". Then, walk forwards and turn left. Use either the stairs or the lift to climb one floor (to floor 2). Exit either, turn right, walk forwards, turn left, and walk forwards through the doors. B2.02 is then the second door one the left.

To reach the room without climbing any stairs, either use the slope beginning opposite the Warwick Law School to enter the Library building, use the lift to reach the first floor and then cross the Library Bridge as per the first paragraph, or use the slope beginning near the Ramphall Building to enter the first floor of Science Block B and then follow the second paragraph, using the lift.

Toilets

The nearest toilets are a trio of male, female and accessible toilets located in the area leading to L3, L4 and L5. To reach them, exit B2.02 and turn left. Walk forwards until you reach a pair of left turnings. For the accessible toilet use the first turning and find the toilet on your right. For the gendered toilets, use the second turning and find the toilets on your right.

The nearest [non-accessible gender neutral toilets https://link.mazemap.com/U0qv24lQ] are located in the Library building on the ground floor. Exit B2.02 and turn right. Walk forwards and through two sets of doors onto the Library Bridge. Cross the bridge into the Library and go down the stairs to the left. Do a U-turn to the left and the toilets are straight ahead of you.

Water fountains

The nearest water fountain is a tap located near the nearest toilets. Proceed as if going to the nearest toilets but turn into the connecting corridor that connects the two other corridors. The tap is opposite the vending machine.

Vending machines

The nearest vending machines are located at the same location as the nearest toilets and water tap. There is a pair opposite the water tap, and a pair behind the wall that those machines are against.

Notable uses

B2.02 is used by the Warwick Tabletop Games and Roleplaying Society to host the majority of their regular events. There are also three padlocked cupboards in the room which are used by the society to store most of their equipment.
